Brisbane renovation – Jindalee Project Brief
Load bearing wall was removed and consolidated to open the area up, and let more light in
New Custom Designed Kitchen installed with a beautiful stone top
Window was replaced with a nice Aluminium Stackable Window Set up, ensuring an unrestricted view over the deck
and the availability of the breezes through the kitchen
Remainder of Load Bearing wall was tiled as a feature wall!
The old Bathroom was looking very tired.
The asbestos lining was removed and disposed of in accordance with Australian Standards
New Bathroom layout and the inclusion of a Roman style bath, gave this room a luxurious new feel!
New Ensuite Conversion
One of the back bedrooms was converted into a much larger, open plan Ensuite, giving the master bedroom a very prestigious feel.
This involved the removal of another load bearing wall and consolidation of the roof, and removing the existing tiny ensuite.
the floor plan was totally transformed with new doorways opened, and old doorways closed off.
The same colours were used in this area, ensuring a smooth transition between rooms
New deck and New Front Porch
The original front porch was dated with it’s ugly bricked arches, and tiled porch
We removed the arches, and installed a new timber deck over the tiled porch, giving it a much nicer finish, and greatly improving the front aspect of the property
The multi level rear deck was custom built to surround the inground pool, and the deck lights transformed the project, ensuring the photos stood out at sale time
Floor coverings, Lighting, and Paint
These are perhaps the most important elements of any and can transform any home into a masterpiece.
The house got a full re-paint inside and out, with brand new light fittings throughout, and special attention to floor coverings.
Full 600×600 tiles downstairs, and polished hardwood flooring upstairs.
